Rose Community Foundation has long supported Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) practices as part of our commitment to helping eliminate the achievement gap in Greater Denver’s K-12 public schools. Grant Beacon Middle School is a learning community benefiting from those oppportunities.

As larger numbers of baby boomers hit retirement age, new models to aid older adults to “age in place” are emerging in Colorado. One such program, Colorado Senior Connections, has developed in Edgewater, Colorado to bring services to older adults right in the neighborhoods where they live.
