A community foundation is a public charity (501c3) that supports nonprofits and donor giving, typically in a specific geographic region. Community foundations bring together the financial resources of families, individuals and organizations who care about a specific place, making grants and supporting donor giving to address community needs and fund local nonprofits through donor-advised funds, nonprofit endowment building, giving circles, and more.

What is a donor-advised fund?
A donor-advised fund is a charitable giving account through which an individual, family or business can make donations or grants to nonprofits of their choosing. Upon opening or contributing assets to the fund, donors receive an immediate tax-deduction and can then recommend grants from their fund at any time.
Assets in the fund may be invested and grow tax-free, increasing your charitable giving over time. All administrative, accounting, and reporting responsibilities are undertaken by our team, leaving you free to focus on giving.
