Communications and Outreach Manager
Katie Peshek joined the Rose Community Foundation in December 2018. As the communications and outreach manager, Ms. Peshek supports and implements the strategy of the communications team and works closely with leadership, grantmaking and philanthropic staff to highlight the Foundation’s community impact. Previously, she was the marketing and outreach manager for the National Conference of State Legislatures, a bipartisan organization serving the nation’s state legislators and legislative staff. In that role, she oversaw all digital and print marketing efforts and executed detailed outreach campaigns related to events, products and member engagement. Prior to NCSL, she worked for the Colorado Forum, a statewide public policy association, providing communications and event management support.
Ms. Peshek is a native of Tucson, Arizona and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Colorado Denver Business School. She was previously a member of the Junior League of Denver and has held volunteer leadership roles with Metro Caring and Advocates for Children. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband Mike and two young sons.
