Our COVID-19 Grantmaking
Rose Community Foundation has committed the entirety of our remaining 2020 grantmaking to a multi-phased response to the impact of this crisis in our region.
- Prevention/Containment/Emergency Response – In early April, the Foundation awarded over 120 grants totaling $1.7 million to nonprofit organizations on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more about that grantmaking here. Additional grantmaking in this category may be deployed as the needs continue and resources are available.
- Impact Mitigation – The Foundation is currently accepting funding requests to support organizations that are working to mitigate or alleviate the impacts of COVID-19 on communities. Learn more here.
- Recovery – The economic disruption of COVID-19 precautions has taken a heavy toll on our Greater Denver nonprofit sector. The Foundation will join donors and peer funders in supporting the fiscal sustainability of nonprofits to ensure they can continue playing a vital role in the overall health and recovery of our region.
