Funding Opportunities
Founded on a tradition of philanthropy, we strive to create positive, sustainable, systemic change for our community.
Rose Community Foundation envisions a thriving Greater Denver region, strengthened by its diversity and generosity. Our approach includes programmatic grant support, policy and advocacy work, proactive responses to emerging issues and opportunities, and donor engagement.
Our grantmaking advances our vision and mission through four impact areas focused in the seven-county Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties):

Newcomers Fund
The Newcomers Fund provides grants to nonprofits that are meeting the vital needs of immigrants in our community, including temporary and permanent housing, basic needs, and health and mental health support. Established in 2022 and administered by Rose Community Foundation, the Fund is led by a steering committee that includes representatives from the City and County of Denver, the State of Colorado, The Denver Foundation, Latino Community Foundation of Colorado, and Mile High United Way.
The Newcomers Fund Steering Committee is currently prioritizing support for organizations that provide access to immigration legal services, know your rights trainings and family preparedness programming, narrative change on the topic of immigration, and continuity of supports for previously ORR-eligible refugee populations and other immigrant populations that have lost access to services.
To apply, please create an account or log in to your Rose Community Foundation’s online grants portal and select the Newcomers Fund opportunity.
