Education & Economic Opportunity
The goal of our Education and Economic Opportunity impact area is to support inclusive pathways to enter, remain and grow in the workforce amidst an evolving economy, which we advance through the following priorities across the seven-county Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties):
- Education-to-Career Continuum: K-12 students can access programs that close gaps within the education system and prepare them for meaningful employment.
- Avenues to Financial Stability: People can gain and maintain employment and have supports to stay in the workforce.
- Workforce Development: Adults have the skills and opportunities that enable them to secure living wage jobs and access career advancement (in industries with high demand).
The Foundation’s ongoing Policy and Advocacy work will be woven into and aligned with each impact area, supporting policies and systemic change that improves lives in Greater Denver and beyond.

Workforce Development Ecosystem
This opportunity builds on the Education & Economic Opportunity impact area’s overarching goal to support inclusive pathways to enter, remain and grow in the workforce amidst an evolving economy. It is intended to support organizations working to ensure that individuals have the skills and opportunities that enable them to secure living-wage jobs and access career advancement in industries with high demand.
The Foundation seeks aligned partners that train individuals for higher-wage jobs in high-demand fields, upskill and reskill adults for career transitions and advancement, and reinforce pipelines from credentialing programs to employers for individuals and communities furthest from opportunity.
We are especially interested in supporting organizations that serve individuals who experience barriers to economic mobility, provide scalable skill building and navigation support that are evidence-based or evidence-informed, and organizations working with industry partners and employers to build and optimize local talent pipelines.

Invitations to submit a full application will be issued on a rolling basis throughout the inquiry period. If invited to apply, applications must be submitted by August 13.
