Community Wellbeing
The goal of our Community Wellbeing impact area is to support engaged, thriving and resilient communities against the backdrop of evolving environments, which we advance through the following priorities across the seven-county Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties):
- Inclusion and Engagement: People experience a sense of belonging in their communities, connectivity between communities, and participate in civic processes.
- Public Resources for Regional Good: Communities have sufficient public resources to provide essential services and improve quality of life.
- Emergent Issues and Opportunities: Community needs are addressed and opportunities are seized/leveraged as they arise and shift.
The Foundation’s ongoing Policy and Advocacy work will be woven into and aligned with each impact area, supporting policies and systemic change that improves lives in Greater Denver and beyond.
Open Opportunities
Immigrant Ecosystem Support
Rose Community Foundation has an open funding opportunity for organizations and programs that foster inclusion, engagement and opportunity for immigrant and refugee communities. Grants may support efforts that strengthen the inclusion of long-established immigrant communities, build a sense of belonging for new arrivals and bring newcomer and receiving communities together. Organizations applying for this opportunity should reflect at least one of the following priorities:
- Provide culturally responsive health/mental health services and food access — specifically creating additional capacity needed to support immigrant populations that have lost access to direct services as a result of shifting federal policies.
- Support the continued participation of immigrant and refugee populations in their communities through English language acquisition, economic opportunity-related initiatives, and/or cultural programming
- Provide immigration legal services and promote equal access to legal information and due process (DACA renewals, adjustment of status, asylum, etc.).

Timeline: Please note that there are two steps to this application process. Applicant organizations are required to first submit an inquiry form for review by Wednesday, September 23. Those who are strongly aligned will be invited to submit a full application, due Monday, October 5.
