What is a Donor-Advised Fund?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a convenient, versatile giving account that enables individuals, families and businesses to effectively manage charitable giving to support the nonprofits and causes they care about. Upon opening or contributing assets to the fund, donors receive an immediate tax-deduction and can then recommend grants from their fund at any time.

Start Your Giving Journey

You can open a donor-advised fund at Rose Community Foundation with a minimum contribution of $10,000. From there, you can recommend grants to eligible nonprofits, contribute additional assets over time and build a lasting approach to charitable giving.

Choose from three investment pools based on the Foundation’s asset allocation, with a focus on long-term growth and preserving your fund’s value.
