Gaye Leonard Named Director of Development and Philanthropic Planning at Rose Community Foundation

Denver, CO – Gaye Leonard has been named director of development and philanthropic planning at Rose Community Foundation. As a community foundation, the Foundation not only makes grants from its permanent endowment, but also houses and oversees grantmaking from philanthropic funds established by individuals, families and organizations. Mrs. Leonard will focus on engaging new philanthropic partners and assisting donors with charitable gift planning.
Mrs. Leonard was previously development director for major gifts at The University of Kansas Endowment Association. In previous positions, she has worked as a development director for the Spencer Museum of Art at The University of Kansas and as executive director of Cherry Creek Schools Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
