Mellenie Goebel joined Rose Community Foundation in January 2024 as the nonprofit endowments advisor. In her role, Mellenie supports and stewards the Foundation’s nonprofit partners with endowed and long-term designated funds, offering tailored growth strategies, guidance and coaching along their endowment journey.
Mellenie most recently worked with the Colorado Chamber of Commerce as an investor relations and membership consultant, focused on membership retention, communications and chamber fundraising initiatives. Mellenie previously served for four years as the development director for There With Care, a nonprofit supporting families and children facing critical illnesses. In this role, she oversaw corporate partnerships, major donor cultivation and stewardship, fundraising events and foundation relations.
In addition to her professional experience, Mellenie has been actively involved in the greater Colorado community for many years. She has served on the Children’s Hospital AOV Board, was a board representative for the Cherry Creek School District Parent Information Network and held the position of vice president of philanthropy of Boys Team Charity, where she connected parents and teens to diverse nonprofit organizations. Mellenie is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community, and in her free time, loves biking, skiing and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, twin boys and dog.
