Steven Kris

Principal, Conundrum Capital LLC

Steve Kris is the principal of Conundrum Capital LLC, a private family office. From 1998 to 2002, Kris served as Founder and President of Ascent Capital, Inc. From 1990-1998, Kris was the Founder and President of Conundrum Co. Prior experience includes working as an account executive with Drexel, Burnham & Lambert and Dean Witter Reynolds.

Kris serves on the boards and committees of several charitable institutions including: National Jewish Health (Chairman of the Board), Colorado Children’s Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees (Executive Committee, Chair Investment Committee).

Past philanthropic positions: JFS of Colorado (Past Chair, Honorary Life Member), JYW (Board Member), The Denver Scholarship Foundation (Board Member), Kavod Senior Life (Board Member), Colorado Open Golf Foundation (Trustee), Rose Community Foundation (Jewish Life Committee), UJC Max Fisher Fellow.

He earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Colorado in Boulder in 1988. He is married to Elizabeth with two children.
