Kelli Rojas is grants manager at Rose Community Foundation. In this capacity, she oversees the administrative and technical functions of the Foundation’s grantmaking program, including the online grant application platform.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Rojas managed grantmaking processes for the global grants portfolio and all data-driven and operational excellence-related projects at the Western Union Foundation. Ms. Rojas has also provided sector resources and training on grant fundraising best practices to professionals in nonprofit organizations across Colorado while at Community Resource Center, taught Spanish and English as a Second Language both in Denver and abroad and provided consulting services for local and international nonprofits on topics ranging from fundraising strategy to program development.
A two-time graduate of the University of Denver (DU), Ms. Rojas holds a master’s degree in international development, with a focus on nonprofit management and the Latin American region, as well as a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Spanish, with minors in anthropology and leadership studies. A Denver native, Ms. Rojas is actively involved in the community. She serves as Communications Chair for the Grants Managers Network Rocky Mountain Chapter, President of the alumni association board for the DU’s leadership program, and as a Boettcher Foundation Alumni Ambassador. She is also a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s Impact Denver program and the Colorado Nonprofit Social Enterprise Exchange and is an active volunteer with several local nonprofits.
In true Colorado spirit, Ms. Rojas enjoys practicing yoga, skiing, and hiking with her two dogs (and sometimes her husband).
