Grants and Data Manager
Kelli Rojas is the grants and data manager at Rose Community Foundation. She oversees grantmaking operations and compliance across the Foundation’s funding programs, as well as various data-driven projects. In this role, she exercises her passions for aligning practices to organizational values, best practice and program strategy in order to best meet community needs.
Ms. Rojas came to the Foundation from the world of CSR and corporate philanthropy. At Western Union, she managed compliance and international grantmaking operations, as well as numerous projects and events related to data, fundraising and global employee engagement. Through her career in philanthropy and as a former trainer and consultant, she has worked with thousands of nonprofit organizations, professionals and consultants to build capacity and strengthen the sector.
A Denver-area native, Ms. Rojas is an active volunteer in her community. In 2017, she was appointed by the Jefferson County Commissioners to the Jefferson County Cultural Council. She has served in several national and regional leadership roles for PEAK Grantmaking, including as Vice Chair of the Rocky Mountain Region and co-chair of the national conference. She has also served as president of the alumni board for the University of Denver’s Pioneer Leadership Program, as a Boettcher Foundation Alumni Ambassador and as an ESL and naturalization tutor and mentor.
Ms. Rojas holds a master’s degree in international development, with a focus on nonprofit management, as well as bachelor’s degrees in international studies and Spanish from the University of Denver. She is a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s Impact Denver program and the Colorado Nonprofit Social Enterprise Exchange.
Ms. Rojas enjoys practicing yoga, reading, hiking with her two dogs and spending quality time with her husband and young daughter.
