Marit Evans joined Rose Community Foundation in July 2021. In her role as database manager, Evans serves as the in-house expert and primary administrator for the Foundation’s core database, CommunitySuite. She leads efforts to develop effective and efficient database processes and procedures, works collaboratively across departments to implement these practices, and supports the Foundation’s broader technology needs.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Evans was the development associate and grants manager at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village. In this role, she managed annual fundraising initiatives, executed successful grant proposals from federal, state, local and private funders, and served as the in-house expert and administrator of Raiser’s Edge.
Originally from Florida, Evans holds a master’s degree in arts administration and a bachelor’s degree in fine and studio arts from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Outside the office, Evans enjoys exploring Denver’s vibrant arts and culture community, seeing live music and spending powder days on the mountain.
