Katie Peshek joined Rose Community Foundation in 2018. As the director of communications and outreach, Peshek designs and implements the strategy of the communications team and works closely with leadership, grantmaking and philanthropic staff to highlight the Foundation’s community impact. She specializes in crafting and executing integrated communications plans that include media relations, internal communications, social media, digital marketing, and storytelling.
Previously, she was the marketing and outreach manager for the National Conference of State Legislatures, a bipartisan organization serving the nation’s state legislators and legislative staff. Prior to NCSL, she worked for the Colorado Forum, a statewide public policy association, providing communications and event management support.
Peshek is from Tucson, Arizona and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Colorado Denver Business School. She serves on the board of directors for Littleton Public Schools Foundation and on the Denver leadership team of The Communications Network. She is a graduate of the Impact Denver program through the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and two young sons.
