Joann comes to the Foundation with over 10 years of experience in strategy, leadership, and administration in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. In her most recent role as Impact Manager at Meow Wolf Denver, Joann developed and led community outreach programs, managed strategic partnerships, and coordinated corporate social responsibility initiatives. She has been an integral member of the social impact team, championing efforts in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility while also supporting the recently established Meow Wolf Foundation. Prior to this, Joann held programming and community engagement roles at Denver Art Museum and the Art Students League of Denver, where she helped to develop cross-department programs, exhibitions, and community engagement initiatives.

Joann holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and currently serves on the board of directors for Access Gallery. With a strong background in project management, fundraising, and donor relations, along with her passion for community engagement, Joann is a valuable addition to our team.
