Zoe Carlson joined Rose Community Foundation as the Philanthropic Initiatives Coordinator in November 2024. In this role, Zoe supports the Foundation’s collaborative giving circles and endowment training programs for nonprofit organizations. Prior to the Foundation, Zoe served as the Program Manager for Think 360 Arts for Learning, a local arts education nonprofit, where she managed the implementation of school and community programs across the state of Colorado. In this role, Zoe developed and stewarded state-wide partnerships, collaborating with communities to meet their unique learning goals using arts-integrated tools and strategies.
Zoe comes to Rose with a strong background in nonprofit administration and program management with previous roles at community art centers, museums, galleries, and universities. She also worked with weaving cooperatives and fair trade businesses in Cusco, Peru, helping to support the cultural and economic vitality of Indigenous communities in the Andes and Amazon. Additionally, she currently serves on the board of directors for Andean Textile Arts. Zoe holds a BA in History of Art from Cornell University and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art History from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Outside of work, Zoe enjoys hiking, camping, studying herbalism, trying a new craft, and watching indie films.
