With more than 180 alumni, the Roots & Branches Foundation network includes a diverse group of Jewish young professionals. Rose Community Foundation continues to support the philanthropic and Jewish journeys of this community in a number of ways.
The Roots & Branches Alumni Council meets quarterly and plans and leads events to continue to bring the Roots & Branches alumni community together to learn, celebrate, give and grow.

For the second year, Roots & Branches Foundation is offering funds for Roots & Branches alumni to further their philanthropic and Jewish leadership in our community. Alumni of Roots & Branches Foundation are invited to apply for a mini-grant of up to $500 to create a meaningful Jewish and/or philanthropic experience for the Roots & Branches community, friends, and family. We encourage alumni to use this opportunity to think creatively. We hope mini-grant supported events will be used to grow and strengthen our community, and that Roots & Branches alumni feel empowered to develop the skills and connections they used during Roots & Branches Foundation. $6,000 will awarded in 2018 on a first come, first serve basis.

Grant and Expense Report
The following information is provided to help you plan your grant report. Grant and expense reports must be submitted online within two weeks of event date. Grant and expense reports submitted via email or other form will not be considered complete. Reimbursement checks will be sent via mail within 10-14 business days after we receive your grant and expense reports, and receipts.

Board and Committee Connections
Throughout the Roots & Branches core program, participants learn the ins and outs of nonprofit operations, strategic philanthropy, community engagement and Jewish values. Continue to serve your community after the core program by serving on a nonprofit board or committee.

Continue your collaborative, Jewish giving journey by launching your own giving circle.
In partnership with Amplifier Giving, we offer training and support to Roots & Branches alumni to lead their own giving circles. Our support includes a framework for meetings, facilitation training, tools to help you lead conversations about Jewish giving and philanthropy, ongoing coaching, targeted matching grants and the option to create a Giving Circle Fund at Rose Community Foundation to house your grantmaking dollars.
