Many people in our community lack access to high quality health care.

People with low incomes, immigrants and people of color have particular difficulty getting the care they need.

We support efforts to create a health care system that is accessible, affordable and encourages prevention for all members of our community. We work with advocacy groups to inform policy that meets the needs of the community’s most vulnerable populations. We also invest in particular areas of care for children that are vital but that have been underfunded, including social-emotional health and healthy brain development.

We support innovative thinking to develop and implement new approaches to care over the long-term. We believe in the power of prevention and the importance of a healthy start in life. We invest in efforts to ensure children are born healthy, stay healthy and are surrounded by caring, competent adults.
