Rachel Rabinovitch

Professor of Medicine and Radiation Oncology, University of Colorado Hospital

Rachel Rabinovitch is a Professor of Medicine and Radiation Oncology at the University of Colorado Hospital with research and clinical expertise in breast cancer and lymphoma/hematologic malignancies.  She is involved in cancer research both locally and with the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Her volunteer work on behalf of the Jewish community has included service as a board member and past President of Denver Academy of Torah, Denver’s K-12 modern Orthodox religious Zionist day school.  Rachel was involved in the development of Denver Academy of Torah’s innovative dual curriculum high school, which now boasts Torah-observant graduates with acceptances to Ivy League and other fine academic institutions.  She currently serves on the board of the DAT Minyan and was president of the growing synagogue last year. She is a member of the Jewish Life Committee at Rose Community Foundation.

Rachel has lived in Denver with her husband since 1994 and together they enjoy raising their nearly-grown 3 children.  Rachel is passionate about Jewish education and Jewish growth and occasionally gives adult education Torah classes in her community.
