Diana Aldapa-Fonseca

Program Assistant

Diana Aldapa-Fonseca is a program assistant for the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC), an initiative at Rose Community Foundation. She provides administrative support to the LCFC team.

Before joining the LCFC team, Ms. Aldapa-Fonseca was an elementary school educator in Santa Barbara, California. She taught multiple subjects in first and fifth grades. Along with teaching, Ms. Aldapa-Fonseca was an advocate for English language learners and their families in Santa Barbara. She participated in various school committees, and received Educator of the Year award in 2015.

Ms. Aldapa-Fonseca holds a master of education degree from University of California, Santa Barbara and a bachelor of arts degree in Chicana and Chicano studies from University of California, Los Angeles. As a California native, she is enjoying her transition to Colorado. She loves spending time in the mountains and bonding with her rescued pup, Zelda.
