Principal, Common Good Consulting
Cody Belzley has dedicated herself to advancing access to quality health care in Colorado for over a decade. In 2015 Cody founded Common Good Consulting, offering public policy and organizational strategy services primarily to nonprofit organizations working on health and early childhood issues. From 2009 – 2015, she was Vice President of Health and Strategic Initiatives for the Colorado Children’s Campaign, the state’s leading nonprofit child advocacy organization, where she established and advanced the organization’s child health agenda and served on the leadership team. Ms. Belzley was the Senior Policy Analyst for Health in the Office of Policy and Initiatives for Colorado Governor Bill Ritter. She has played leadership roles in many state and local ballot measures and legislative initiatives to fund health care and early learning programs in Colorado.
Ms. Belzley has dedicated her volunteer time and service to a number of worthy causes, including Mile High Montessori, Colorado Access and Mental Health America of Colorado. She is a member of Rose Community Foundation’s Education Committee.
Ms. Belzley completed the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Leadership Institute for State-Based Advocates and was honored by the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Colorado Chapter with the Child Health and Welfare Award in 2014.
Ms. Belzley is a graduate of The Colorado College. She and her husband, Seth, live in Denver with their two children, Liza and Cooper.
