Rose Community Foundation Announces Fourth Quarter 2011 Grants
Denver, CO – During the fourth quarter of 2011, Rose Community Foundation awarded 240 grants totaling more than $3.1 million. Of this amount, $2,650,195 was awarded for 37 grants from Rose Community Foundation’s program areas to nonprofit organizations, government agencies and projects that support the health and well-being of the Greater Denver community. In addition, 203 grants totaling $545,951 were approved from donor-advised funds housed at the Foundation. Rose Community Foundation has awarded grants totaling more than $179 million since its inception in 1995.
The Foundation’s board of trustees authorized the following grants between October 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011. Program grants are listed by program area and donor-directed grants are listed alphabetically. Locations indicate the organization’s headquarters, not necessarily the geographic area served.

Boulder County CareConnect (Boulder): $20,000 for three programs helping older adults: Carry-Out Caravan, Fix-It Program and Medical Mobility.
