Priscilla Montoya Vitello
Project Manager, Latino Community Foundation of Colorado
Priscilla Montoya Vitello is a project manager for the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC), an initiative of Rose Community Foundation. Her focus is program evaluation, research and communications.
Ms. Montoya Vitello’s work with LCFC started in 2014 as a consultant. She worked on various LCFC projects including the education project, HIP to College. As a consultant, Ms. Montoya Vitello used technology to build digital relationships with stakeholders in the Latino community and offered program evaluation for business, organizations and individuals.
At the University of Denver, Ms. Montoya Vitello worked on issues of diversity and inclusiveness through the Interdisciplinary Research Incubator for the Study of (In)Equality (IRISE) and the DU Latino Center for Community Engagement and Scholarship (DULCCES). Her experience in community and organizational social work helps her approach her work with a social justice lens.
Ms. Montoya Vitello also has several years of direct practice experience in the field of child welfare in both Georgia and Colorado. She continues to advocate for related issues through various organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in cultural anthropology/psychology from Texas State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver.
In her free time, she enjoys art, music and visiting with friends and family.
