Katherine Gold has built her family owned and operated business, Goldbug, into one of the United States’ largest distributors of children’s accessory products. As president & sole owner, Ms. Gold has acquired clients that range from international companies like Wal-Mart and Target to the top specialty dealer chains around the country. Ms. Gold has established licensed partnerships with the top children’s brands including Levi’s, Carters, Oshkosh, Eddie Bauer and Disney.
Ms. Gold’s lifelong commitment to children’s issues and education has led her to become an advocate and leader on board associations and in the non-profit community. She is a trustee at Rose Community Foundation and a member of the Foundation's Audit and Finance, Child and Family Development and Gift Acceptance Committees. She is past Chair of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association which represents the multi-billion dollar children’s furniture and bedding industry. She served on the Board of the Colorado Children’s Campaign as past Chair. She is a board member of Executive Partnering to Invest in Children and serves on the Executive Committee of the American Apparel and Footwear Association in Washington, DC. She is an ongoing advisor offering business leadership in the Young Presidents Organization and the International women-in-business group, C-200. She is also a member of the International Women’s Forum and was selected to serve on The Federal Reserve Economic Advisory Council, 10th District. Katherine received the Most Powerful Women Award in Colorado, in 2015.
